TIPS ON SHOPPING

Here are some tips when shopping for your dancing balloon:

1) Get your best value, not your cheapest price. This product will pay for itself very quickly with the average increase in sales traffic at your retail location of 10% when used.

2) Be sure to get lettering that indicates the service you have to offer those who drive by each day. Lettering can add $50 to $80 on average and it is money well invested. The process of applying lettering requires art set up, cutting of boat sail insignia cloth (a very expensive material) and the gluing and stitching of each letter. Lettering is at least 12” tall and wide in most cases. Try to keep you lettering on a regular 18 FT air dancer to 11 or 12 letters.  You want your message simple and straight forward.

3) We have our air dancers priced at rock bottom. To make an air dancer properly, that is to withstand the hurricane force of the high output fan, the constant beating from the fan, the about of debris blown through the unit and the effect of the Sun’s damaging UV rays, the units need to be built right using the UV high strength polyester thread stitched in a very strong fashion using 5 thread sewing machines,

4) If you find a US made air dancer for less that ours, they are cutting corners somewhere. Often by using an inferior material. Some companies use 1.9 oz ripstop which is cheaper and too heavy. Also, cheaper thread, cheaper lettering, cheap stitching and more. We exclusively use 1.5 oz Fibermax racing spinnaker material from Challenge Sailcloth Co. Unlike other 1.3 oz ripstops brought in from Taiwan, Fibermax is made her in America and is designed for use on racing sailing vessels including the America’s Cup. It is designed to withstand beating, sun exposure, water and rough handling.

5) These do not need to be used daily to obtain the results of increased store traffic and new faces in your store. The people that drive by are usually passing you on a regular basis.

6) Again, get your best value. Judge your supplier or manufacturer by their web site, knowledge and pricing. Too high a price simply means they are reselling and simply marking it up a lot. Too low and you are getting less of an air dancer.

7) How often do you invest in something that rapidly pays for itself and increases sales by 10 percent or more?  Don’t get cheap about adding lettering or purchasing the best. You are a business owner and this is a high return investment. Don’t try to save $40 by finding the cheapest unit possible. This is an investment in your your livelihood. Too often people forget they are purchasing highly effective advertising and get stuck in that “get the cheapest price” mindset.

Avoid eBay unless you want to surely get a poorly made unit that will only last weeks and you can disregard the seller’s reviews since those are left right after purchase and not weeks down the road when the buyer finds out that he made a mistake.

ROOFTOP BALLOONS

Installation is a easy as sinking four eye screws into the rooftop or roof ledge and securing the all 8 or 12 tethers to these four attachment points. Run a power cold to an accessible outlet and the fan will continually keep your giant balloon sign inflated day and night. These can also be lighted either internally or with external garden spot lights to really make your business stand out. Often a customer will use these in conjunction with wind flags and feather flag banners  (see above) and an air dancer (see top of page).
