Not All Air Dancers are Same Quality. We only use 1.5 oz FIBERMAX
We only use the absolute highest grade domestic 1.5 oz FIBERMAX racing spinnaker sail ripstop. Recognized as the best material and the choice of Northsail Sail factory, Catalina Yachts and major yacht races worldwide. It is a American made state of the art material that uses the highest quality nylon yarns, woven tight, then bathed in resin and heat treated to further tighten the weave. It has incredible dimensional stability which means if you pull it diagonally it requires 16 pounds of pull to produce 1% stretch. This material is a premium cost to use, but after many months of testing, combined with development and research and our 11 years of air dancer experience, we clearly now make and offer the best made air dancer available anywhere. Our material costs 4 times as much and produces an extremely durable Air Dancer. This material will be stiff and a little loud for the first few hours. It will soften up and quiet down and produce a better dancing effect. When you are purchasing an air dancer that will pay for within just days or a couple weeks, shouldn’t you get the best? Other companies use 1.3 oz ripstop and yet it comes in varying levels of quality and all of it is from Taiwan. Depending on where and how it was made and coated, it can be tear apart in just a few weeks. Also be wary of part time cheap AIR DANCER imported unit resellers who claim they are factories and others who claim to be using 1.3 oz but are importing cheap and weak material that stretches, twists and fails very quickly.
Like anything else, if the price is too low, there’s a reason.
