Simply the best made Air Dancer and the Best Value and here is why:
WE EXCLUSIVELY USE 1.5 OZ U.S. MADE FIBERMAX
While other US manufacturers and resellers claim 1.3 oz ripstop, it comes in varying quality. Our competitors import their material from Taiwan whereas we only use the most state of the art racing sail spinnaker material called 1.5 oz Fibermax from Challenge Sailcloth, the choice of all major sail and yacht companies from Northsail to Catalina. Our material uses the highest quality nylon yarn. It is woven tight and then heat treated for further tightness. It is then dragged thru a bath of resin impregnating it. It has the highest dimension stability of any ripstop in the world. Dimensional stability is a measurement of how much it stretches when pulled diagonally. This Material greatly reduces stress points where the non-giving area around the lettering meets the ripstop. In addition, we zigzag stitch our lettering to disperse stress load. We find use of competitors material only suitable for hair and fingers,

THE FIBERMAX DIFFERENCE !! The material is the foundation for the entire Air Dancer. Others may soon follow our lead on how to build a better Air Dancer but without Fibermax material, it is simply overkill on a poor imported ripstop.

NAME BRAND 2” VELCO. IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
We only use name brand Velcro with a higher amount of hooks and weaves per square inch. The is the area where the Air Dancer attaches to your 18” fan which blower 5000 - 5200 cubic feet of air a minute (hurricane force) and is also where the material is removed and re-attached. This part of the Air Dancer takes the strongest amount of wind beating and the 2” Velcro is super stitched using Bartlet and Heminway V69 UV polyester thread known for it’s use in the construction of racing yacht sails. Our competitors use 1 1/2 “ wide off brand and sew with nylon thread or worse. The imported units use single stitch cotton thread.

BAINFLATE 7.5 OZ MARINE VINYL FOR 8” BASE
Our base is made of Bainflate 7.5 oz outdoor UV marine vinyl for added strength at the base where the unit attaches to the 18” fan that blows 5200 cubic feet of air per minute. Our seam work, 2” Velcro and over-lock stitched triple seam work make sure of it. We also put extra stitch work into the 2” Velcro band and opening adjustment flap for even more strength where it needs it most. Using the same methods used by the U.S. military for construction of carry bags and canvass storage bags, we employ the same methods for durability. The vinyl base and extra work adds to the manufacturing cost, but our company is committed to manufacturing the best unit. We do not cut corners.

BARTLET & HEMINWAY V69 POLY UV SAILING THREAD
We use only the best thread in the world. Used almost exclusively for racing yacht sail and spinnaker construction. There is no better thread anywhere. Many U.S. companies use lightweight or medium weight nylon thread. Overseas imports so commonly found on auction sites use a single stitch lightweight cotton thread with no UV protection. Our thread combined with our seam work and superior and long researched workmanship means that every part of your Air Dancer is made to the absolute highest standards possible. Once again, it costs more, but an Air Dancer must take kind of abuse and beating that can be compared to leaving a nylon flag in a hurricane 6 months.

From the body seams to the zigzag load dispersing method used to sew on our lettering, your unit is made with the finest sewing equipment that is designed to meet the needs of our unique workmanship..

BEST AVAILABLE BOAT SAIL INSIGNIA CLOTH
There are other places to purchase insignia cloth, but we use only a proprietary cloth used by all the major high end yacht and sail manufacturers, including Northsail. The lettering has a special adhesive backing and is cut using the finest precision graphic cutting equipment. It is then weeded, masked and applied to your Air Dancer before it is sewn together. The lettering is then individually zigzag stitched to disperse the stress load of the non stretching insignia cloth to the slightly flexible ripstop. It is a labor intensive process and extremely labor intensive stitching method that others do not employ for reasons of additional costs, but it is the only way we attach our lettering.

MOCK UP, ART DEPARTMENT AND LETTERING CUTTER
Your art mock up is created (often while you are on the phone with our office) and it is later sent to the art department where the lettering is made as large and balanced as possible to provide you with the most effective sign to convey your message thereby increasing the sales results you can expect from your new Air Dancer. We only use the best software and state of the art cutting equipment to create your lettering and/or logo.

INTO THE SEWING ROOM
Once you have placed your order and received your paid invoice, your Air Dancer work order is sent immediately to the sewing department. Your unit is started into production. The body pattern, arms, hair and fingers are cut and the best is assembled. We use a “hot knife” to cut our material. The hot knife sears the edged of the material to stop fraying. Our regular seams are folded over to also avoid any fraying. The hair and fingers are made twice as long as most other companies and the hot knife helps stop them from fraying Many companies will use shorter hair to save a little material and most U.S. manufacturers also make shorter arms that angle downward. Our new design angles the arms upward for better dancing effect and the arms are longer too.

SEARED FINGERS WITH A HOT KNIFE TO REDUCE FRAY
AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTO, THE EDGES OF THE FINGERS ARE SEARED WITH A HOTKNIFE TO REDUCE FRAYING OF MATERIAL. ONCE AGAIN, THIS ADDS TIME AND LABOR BUT PRODUCES A BETTER AIR DANCER.

18”LONG OVERLOCK STITCHED HAIR
WE DON’T SKIMP ON MATERIAL. WE USE A FULL 18” LONG HAIR FOR A GREAT EYE CATCHING EFFECT. ACTUALLY, WHEN YOU MEASURE OUR 18 FT AIR DANCER, IF YOU INCLUDE THE HEIGHT OF THE HAIR, THE BODY IS ACTUALLY 19.5 FT TALL AND WHEN IT SITS ON A 20” TALL FAN, IT IS ACTUALLY A TOTAL HEIGHT OF 22 FT.
